Bali is Perfection

I kinda always knew i would love  bali . Afterall we have many many bali beds and my fave part of my houses
Bali is all about kind peacful people ( i need more of this in my life ! ) water fountains , rivers , architectural  beauty , buddhas , massages , flowers , monkeys , bali beds , comfortable corners to read , amazing cheap food and the list goes on and on .

Bali is for me :) i was just always too afraid toCome this far away in the world and never seemed to be the right time  to do so in my work and family

So happy i did

Yesteday evening was heavenly . We booked a great spa my travel expert leah recommends ( she is opening her company in fall and get your  spot as there will be a line up as she is the best of the best ! )
It was tamarind spa ubud .
For 90 cdn dollars each we were each able to get 4 hrs of tbe best spa treatments ever in total bali luxury !!!!!! In canada we would have paid 400  for this day . In bali ubud you can get a massage for 10 dollars an hour but nothing like this
Started with 90 mins hot stone massage
Then hour reflexology foot massage
Hour traditional facial with all natural products ( think honey and mint and lemon and yogurt and cucumber slices over your eyes !! )
This was the best 4 hrs ever for all of us
Bear opted for a honey exfoliation full body and scrub and rose petal bath instead of foot masage as his feet to ticklish .
Our massages in north America have alot to learn from the balinese !!!

We walked around and had a nice dinner  with  some great live music and got home late soft relaxed and scrubbed . Wish could do this everyday ! I would be a better person

Up early this morning to review the last part of my book which is due to publisher 3 days after i return . Then packed and left beautiful Ubud for the next part of our stay .

Stopped off in last Ubud place the sacred monkey forest . Sooooooooo cute !! Missed beauty so much as she would have loved loved this experiences  of monkeys crawling all over and all over us

Only issue is we only had time for 30 mins where bear would have easily spent a half day !

Same with the temple on the lake ! Would have spent a few hrs on a little boat on lake admiring the temple and had 30 minutes ! Trying to pack it all in is sometimes not such a great idea but at least gives us a flavour of so many parts of bali and allows us to know what to spend time at for a future possible visit

Now onto the famous temple on the lake and a special waterfall and a possible other coffee plantation and then onto bali barat !

Spoke to chase and beauty by facetime too and since mid way in trip got caught up on work emails and my mom emails and few friend emails . Felt good .
And also felt good to get back to the bliss of vacation too where unaware of reality and only aware of our little bubble .
