This morning was
awesome !
You cannot even begin
to imagine how clear the water is here !!
We indulged
in some ocean and
snorkelling time for our last morning in bali barat . Saw some huge turtles and
during a picture on our way our got pooped on my head by a naughty moneky (
good luck for life at least ! )
Bear is in an amazing
funny light mood too which is super fun
You know a trip is
almost over when you start getting annoyed at all the things you appreciated a
fee days ago ! The long car ride today of 6 hrs we didn't like at all
( this is the part
of travel we don't enjoy )We are getting sick of eating rice and noodles and
eating out on general . All the balinese worshippers today got on pur nerves as
they were in huge almost herds and caused massive traffic .
Still cant believe
people pray this often ! See what i mean !?? Grumpy and long drives arent good
for our spirits !!!
Cant wait just to get
to hotel and out of this traffic and start loving our trip again !
Its funny as our
limit for travel seems to be 2 weeks . After that we start craving just being
in a place where we can cook our own meals and not have a schedule . That' why
we love renting condos as its like living at home in more beautiful places .
Within a couple of years when beauty is 19 and can stay home with my mom we
will live in 4 -6 countries for 3 months at a time and work there . On bucket
list now are
Bali /Australia / new zealand
Italy
Spain
Costa rica
Western Canada in an rv
We are trying to save
money for this and planning to possibly sell our home by then or rent it and
build my new company and expand my current one in ways we can both work abroad
remotely . It has been a plan for a long time and cant belive that it will
almost be here in 3 yrs
Got to hotel in
canguu and although remarkably stunning and beautiful by far nothing like the
other hotels and areas we have stayed in . Much more touristy and western
feeling . If we had seen this first we would have thought it was paradise but
seeing it after the sheer beauty of the other three areas we have experienced
it pales in
comparison
But we are here for
the surf town and the surf ! For bear ! He seems very impressed!
Went out for amazing
bali burgers and fries at this super cool little hole in the wall . Today the
kids facetimed us and beauty had a fit on phone with us bc she asked us if she
could post a particular photo on instagram and our answer was no ( and she
already had ) she said she hates us and that we are ruining her life and are
basically stupid
jerks ( back to reality !!! ) thank god she apologized later
Today is very
cloudy but still
warm and humid . First not gorgeous day . Bear is surfing and loving it . When
this kid does something - he does if well . About 8 times in
life has surfed and already he is amazing . I admire his athleticism so much -
he works out religiously 5 times
a week boxing now
and man does it show on his body . He has completely transformed
his lean body to
lean and muscular . When the waves get big and people come in - bali bear stays
out . To master his surfing
It's who he is .
But man he knows how
to stress us out . Did i mention there is no such thing here in bali of surfers
wearing flotation or lifejackets ?
We wait about an hour
and then start freaking out like now as cant
spot him :(
If he wasnt a
lifeguard and super strong swimmer we would be
having full fledged panic attacks by now
Man i wish my biggest
problems were a two year d throwing food across the kitchen from his high chair
!
Back fron surfing
alive !
A lazy afternoon of
napping and some ping pong before a free 15 mins massage included at our hotel
ans a plate of sushi overlooking the ocean before we head into town for some
shopping and dinner
Canggu lacks alot but
food is not one of them ! Much more western style food but it is sooo yummy .
Had the pizzas of a lifetime tonight followed by cheap foot massages . Last
partial day is tomorrow ! Then on planes . Will sleep and get a ton of work done
on those flights
